How do I choose the right size cleat or fairlead?

a.Size is primarily determined by the diameter of your dock lines.

b. Cleat: The length of the cleat should be at least 10-12 times the diameter of your standard line (e.g., a 1/2" line requires a 5-6" cleat).

c. Fairlead/Chock: The radius of the fairlead must be larger than the line diameter to prevent pinching and excessive wear. Check the manufacturer's specifications, which always list the recommended line diameter.
